Eastville man set fire to Bristol city centre nightclub
AN Eastville man has admitted setting fire to a city centre nightclub.
Owen Marshall, aged 28, appeared at Bristol Crown Court yesterday to face a charges over the blaze, which caused "significant damage" to SWX, in Nelson Street (pictured above before the fire), during the early hours of July 13.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of arson while reckless as to whether life was endangered.
Marshall, of Royate Hill, also admitted making threats to damage Lakota nightclub in a letter sent on August 2 and causing criminal damage to the Barley Mow pub, on Barton Road, St Philip's, on August 28.
He was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced at the same court on November 18.
