Wallscourt Farm Academy put on a spectacular fun football festival for schools in their area. This included fun activities for all ages, and parents, carers and families were also invited to take part.

The football festival, for children in Years 2 & 3 pupils, involved seven-a-side teams from St Michael’s, Begbrook Primary Academy, Frome Vale Academy and Wallscourt Farm Academy.

The aim of the festival was for pupils to have a fun kick around with no pressure. It was not a tournament so there were no winners or losers.

Organiser Kate Wiggan, Teaching Partner in Oak Learning Zone at Wallscourt, said: “I want children to enjoy their football, have a fun time and also give them the opportunity to take part whatever their level. I would also like to thank all parents who turned out and supported this event.”
