Teenagers in court charged with attempted murder and conspiracy over Fishponds stabbing
A TEENAGE boy and girl have been charged over the stabbing of a 17-year-old in a Fishponds street.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with attempted murder last night in relation to the attack, which happened in Ridgeway Road last Friday evening.
A girl, also aged 16, has been charged with conspiracy to murder.
Neither can be named for legal reasons.
They were held in custody ahead of a first appearance at Bristol Magistrates Court today.
Another 16-year-old boy and a man aged 18, who were arrested earlier in the week on suspicion of attempted murder, have been released on bail.
Two other people arrested as part of the investigation have been released and face no further action.
Police and paramedics were called to Ridgeway Road at around 8pm on Friday February 12 after a boy aged 17 was found with several stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital, where he remained today.
